Internship at StarParks Europe near Brussels, Belgium

At the corporate level of StarParks Europe we need a new trainee in our marketing department. The internship starts in the beginning of August or as soon as possible thereafter and is for a period of minimum three month.

StarParks Europe is an international company operating seven theme parks in Belgium, France, Holland and Germany. As a marketing trainee you will be involved in many aspects of the marketing process as well as getting an insight in the business at corporate level.

Starparks was until April 2004 part of the American company Six Flags, but is now an independent group. Thus, during the coming period of time a lot of changes will be made in terms of re-positioning and re-branding. As a marketing trainee you will be involved in the process around these changes.

Key responsibilities:
You will directly assist the VP Marketing Europe, which means that you will deal with many hands-on projects. Furthermore you will be in charge of updating the competition book, which means that you will be following closely the competing environment for our parks.
As a marketing driven company, you will automatically be involved in the marketing process from A to Z, which is a really interesting experience. It does not mean that everything is marketing-based. You are dealing with day-to-day operations, analysis and if applicable, projects to be initiated.

Qualifications:
You finished your bachelor degree from HA, SPRØK or a similar program. You possess good analytical skills and are strong in written and oral English. You are good at structuring your time and to juggle more tasks at the same time. You are familiar with the use of Word and Excel. Furthermore, you would like to work in an international and relaxed atmosphere. The working language is English but it will be an advantage if you speak French as well. Though this is not an obligation.

The internship is unpaid but your transportation cost to work every day will be covered.
