Village Roadshow - (5/29/06) Village Roadshow has announced that they has signed a deal to buy out Warner Bros. ownership shares of their Australian theme parks (Warner Bros. MovieWorld, Wet ‘n Wild, etc) for $254 million (Australian). As part of the deal, they have a long term licensing agreement with Warner Bros. that will allow continued and future use of the various characters and movie licenses. Branching off from this deal, they have also announced that they are exploring opportunities to open new parks in Asia with the Asia Warner Bros. sub unit.
