Leider (oder zu Glück?) nur ein gelungener Marketing-Gag.

Und wieder ein toller Marketing-Gag?!

Now mums can get out of scary rollercoaster rides

oblivion ride at alton towersNow this is a genius idea – Alton Towers are offering to hire out 'mums' to guests staying at their resorts. The idea is that if you find yourself accompanying your kids on white-knuckle rides when you'd much rather be on terra firma, you can now call on the services of a park mum to sit beside your kids on the ride instead of you.

The 'Rent-a-Mum' service will also be a boon for mothers who are torn between keeping older kids happy by going on the rides with them when they also need to look after their younger siblings.

As the blurb explains: 'If you are a mum who loves watching your children enjoying the rides and attractions, but are simply too scared to face joining them, or perhaps you have a baby to look after and simply cannot be in two places at once…why not Rent-a-Mum to sit alongside your child, giving you peace of mind that they have a reassuring voice sat beside them.' Clever stuff!
