Mir ist auf der IAAPA erstmals zu Ohren gekommen, dass es im Luxor wohl, vermutlich bis ca. 1999, eine (Themen-)bootsfahrt gegeben haben soll. Weiß jemand mehr darüber bzw. hat sogar Fotos?

Andere Quellen sprechen davon, dass die Bootsfahrt erst 1997/98 verschwunden ist.
Ich versuche auch schon länger, nähere Infos und Bilder davon zu finden.

ich bin im Februar 1995 damit gefahren. Es war eine Guided Tour mit einem Boot einmal im Quarree herum. Während der Fahrt wurden Statuen und Malereien erklärt, an denen man vorbei fuhr. Ich fand's langatmig und öde.

Nach Fotos kann ich mal suchen, sehe aber schwarz, da meine damalige Freundin damals die Knipserin in der Beziehung war, und das Zeug jetzt irgendwo in Freiburg liegt, wenn es noch existiert.

Ich war im Sommer 1998 da und kann mich nicht erinnern, dass es dort eine Themenfahrt gegeben haben soll. Diverse Simulatoren und Kinos, aber an einen Ride kann ich mich nicht erinnern.

Und wir sehen uns gleich wieder in der x-Zone 2.

Jepp - seit 98 gibt es die Rundfahrt nicht mehr. Mittlerweile ist im Innenraum der Pyramide eine Plattform über dem Casino eingezogen worden. Soweit ich weis, war das früher mal ganz offen. Auf der Plattform ist nun u.A. ein 3D-Kino und eine Fressmeile. Eigentlich schade, da nun das gesamt Ausmaß der Pyramide nicht mehr wirklich rüber kommt, zumal das Teil von außen ja eher mikrig aussieht. Bilder hätte ich aber auch vom aktuellen Stand.
