Park Planned For Belgium

Popular Dutch theme park Het Land van Ooit plans to launch a second park in Belgium in April 2006. The $50 million (U.S.) venture, on a 54-acre site, is described as a "compact park" that will be located in the Tongeren region close to the French and German borders. It forecasts 150,000 visitors in its opening year with attractions based on the Ooit characters at the original Dutch park and on Sesame Street characters, to which Het Land van Ooit has exclusive rights for the Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg) region.

Falls es sich um das selbe Objekt handelt, wie im belgischen Forum centralpark beschrieben wird der Park ein zweites Plopsaland.
Plopsaland ist bereits ein erfogreicher Freizeitpark an der belg. Küste, der vor ein Paar Jahren von einem belgischen TV-Sender übernommen wurde. Früher hieß der Park Meli-Park.
