Obviously the update release has been delayed - we apologize for this.

There was a problem with the Installer and everyone is working to get this fixed and released before Christmas.

We will update you when we have more info on timing.

Patch Delay

Unfortunately the update will be delayed until the week of Jan. 3rd due to the lack of resources at Atari. The company is closed for the holiday all next week so we can't release it until then.

Sorry to let everyone down, I know there are a lot of disappointed fans out there. Obviously we need to improve our release forecasting and notification processes. If it wasn't for the Holiday we would have been in closer communication on the boards in regards to the delays on this update.

... aber leider nur für die US-Version. Alle mit der europäischen Version dürfen sich weiterhin in Geduld üben.

The US update #2 is already available for download. "Check for Updates" should be enabled shortly, but is not there at the time of writing this post. The European version is also imminent. I'll update here when I have more info.

Der neue Patch scheint wohl nicht ganz ohne zu sein.

falls die Angaben stimmen sollten und falls uns der gleiche Patch winkt, wie für die US Version, bin ich mir nicht ganz sicher, ob das wirklich eine zwingend notwendige Verbesserung darstellt.

Ja, ohne Probleme.

Wobei das bei mir ja nix heisst...

Auf der der Seite von Atari Großbritannien gibt es jetzt auch den Patch #2 in 3 verschiedenen Versionen für die europäische Version. (Es wird empfohlen das Update über "Check for Updates" zu installieren, dies soll in Kürze möglich sein.)

This new update features loads of cool features.

It is available in 3 different versions:

- If you have not installed any of the previous updates, install the file named: Update 2
- If you have installed update Beta1A previously, install the file named: Update Beta1A to Update 2
- If you have installed update 1 previously, install the file named: Update 1 to Update 2

Aaaaarrrgghh, also ich benutze immer nur die "Auf Updates prüfen" Option.
Sollte doch reichen, oder?

By the way: Habe aber immernoch manchmal Tonstörungen beim rein-und-raus zoomen (Kurzes, lautes Rauschen). Hoffe, das wird bei einem der nächsten Updates gefixt :-/

If you are not an advanced user, we strongly recommend you wait for the in-game "Updates" button to install Update #2 - this should be enabled later today. The Updates button will automatically detect the correct version of your game and update you. Currently there are multiple patch and update files on the FTP

Bei mir läuft Patch 2 erst seit Neuinstallation des Spiels.
Den Performancesprung bei großen Parks kann ich leider nicht erleben, hab aber auch nur ein Mittelklassesystem.
