Neue Nauta Bussink Rides
lost city is an indoor free-fall dark ride unique in its system. The exclusive decoration of the ride is a dark hotel in 'Lost City'.
When you enter the ride, you sit in a 15 to 24-passenger seat cabin. When everyone has taken their seat, the cabin will close and everything will be dark.
With 3d video or laser it can be modified to enhance a very scary feeling. Then you will be lifted to a height of 35 meters or higher. At the top the cabin will turn 45 degrees to two doors that will open on the top of the hotel. Here you can see how high you really are. For a few seconds you will have the opportunity to view the outside and surrounding area. Then the doors will close again, and it will be completely dark.
The cabin starts to move again. You don't know what will happen! Than suddenly the cabin drops you in free-fall back to the base.

The passengers will enter the Gondola in the station, which is elevated approximately 10 meters from the zero level. At this point a chain-drive will catch the train and pull it up a 45 degree incline (with approximately 2 m/s). At a height of approximately 34 meters above zero level the train will make a curve of 10 meter radius for approximately 20 meters length.
At the end of this curve the train will stop on the edge of the highest point of the track just before it will go into the approximately 50 meter Free Fall track.
Then after a few seconds the train is released for a free fall ride of 50 meter down going 15 meter through a tunnel below zero level.
During the Free Fall the train will reach a maximum speed of approximately 95 km/h pulling up to approximately 4.0 G. When it comes out of the tunnel in a banking angel, the train will enter into the last curve for approximately 20 meter and end in the linear braking system. Finally it returns into the station.
