IT has been officially announced that the famous Black Hole is to retire after 21years of service. The ride, which opened in 1984, has been a firm favourite at the park for many years, in its early days it was considered as one of the most thrilling experiences the park had to offer. Since then the park has seen more technological advances and innovated, finding new ways to thrill and entertain the wide spectrum of guests. In addition to the aging nature of the attraction, increased maintenance and the need for new evacuation routes have been discussed as reasons for removal. As of yet we do not know what will replace the attraction, but it is known that it will remain open for the winter weekends up until the re-opening of the park in March
