Von Regen, Puppen und dem Supercup...München im August 2010
Um mal 3 Tage etwas auszuspannen, machten wir uns Donnerstag recht früh auf den Weg von Aachen richtung München. Nach circa 6,5 Stunden Fahrt inkl. Pause wollten wir als allererstes mal beim Rekordmeister vorbei schauen, da wir wussten, dass dieser gegen Mittag trainierte.

Danach fuhren wir zum Hotel, schmissen unser Gepäck in's Zimmer und gingen erstmal in die Stadt, um uns etwas umzuschauen und uns zu stärken. Es begann bereits zu tröpfeln:

Als uns dann das Spielzeugmuseum in's Auge fiel und der Regen so langsam mehr wurde, nahmen wir dies natürlich auch noch mit. Hier kann man nur sagen. Klein, aber fein und hauptsache ein Dach über dem Kopf. Und es gab durchaus interessante Dinge zu sehen:

Am nächsten Morgen wurde reichlich gefrühstückt und wir machten uns dann wegen des schlechten Wetters auf den Weg in das nahe gelegene Deutsche Museum, für welches man meiner Meinung nach schon locker 2 ganze Tage braucht, um sich alles genauer anzusehen. Trotzdem haben wir, wenn auch vielleicht nicht so intensiv, alle Räume, Etagen und Ecken des riesigen Museums erforscht:

Spät nachmittag, mit Hoffnung auf Wetterbesserung, wollten wir dann noch das Sommerfest im Olympia-Park besuchen und uns das alte Stadion ansehen. Aufgrund des miesen Wetters und des Dauerregens sind hier nur wenige Fotos entstanden. Auf dem Weg dahin trockneten wir uns aber erst noch etwas bei BMW. Abends ging es dann noch richtung Allianz-Arena und in die Stadt unser abendlichen Maß geniessen:

Am nächsten Tag machten wir dann bei Sonnenschein auf dem Weg richtung Heimat einen Halt in Augsburg, welche Stadt ich mir so schön garnicht vorgestellt hatte. Die Stadt gefiel mir sehr gut. Und was verbindet man mit Augsburg? Natürlich die Puppenkiste, die ein kleines, aber feines und durchaus nett aufgemachtes Museum beinhaltet. Da ich in meinen frühen Jahren ein großer Fan von diesem Puppentheater war, sah ich mich in der Pflicht, der "Kiste" einen Besuch abzustatten:

Nach dem mittaglichen Essen ging es dann zum Abschluß unserer 3 Tagestour in die Impuls-Arena des FC Augsburg, um uns den Supercup zwischen den Bayern und Schalke anzusehen. Das Stadion war ausverkauft und die Stimmung war für so ein Spiel doch recht gut. Wie meist üblich gewannen die Bayern am Ende mit 2:0 und danach ging es knappe 6 Stunden mit dem Auto richtung Aachen.
