2007 - Talocan - Confirmed - (8/3/06) A new sign has been put up in the park listed Talocan as the name of the new attraction in 2007. Much like the previous “Curse of Sol Oscuro” rumor we’ve had for the last year, this logo also has a logo that gives the impression that it came from the ruins of South America. After looking up the name is Wikipedia, it may be a reference to “Tlalocan”, an upper level in the after live from Aztec myth, associated with a deity of rain and lightning. The world itself is supposed to be a paradise and a realm of unending springtime. No clue if this has anything to do with the attraction or not, but the lush jungle sounding environment sounds similar to the dark ride / dark coaster theme we had hear about previously.
(12/27/04) The latest rumors about the new proposed attraction claim that it may be called The Curse of Sol Oscuro. This may be the long rumored dark ride or jungle themed coaster attraction.
